Thursday Randoms

it's THURSDAY y'all, you know what that means??? 

THE WEEKEND IS ALMOST HERE!!! 

i can hardly wait, just to get somethings planned out...

i have been saying for about.... oh... {forever} that i want to make some healthy and positive changes in my life and i am ready to get those started while i have the chance!!

for today i just thought that i would share some random things from this week.

one:

don't you hate how when you walk into a nail shop to get something done or fix, it never fails that the person that says "hello, how can i help you?" is yelling it from the back of the shop and in return you have to yell what you need back... 

this happened to me this week... i went last friday to get my nails filled at just this little shop, never been there before!!  well by tuesday of this week i had one already broke and about {4} others broken so i went back... but who wants to yell across the shop "oh i need to get all these nails fixed after only having them for 4 days because someone that y'all hired and pay does crappy work!!!" 

but i said politely "i need to get a few nails fixed" and after i was sitting there with a different lady, who did a much better job, i thought to myself... "it would be quite embarrassing if you walked in to get a bikini wax and had to yell that across the shop"....

two: 

i have been hearing all about this amazing shave cream that i decided i had to try... coochy... well the only place that sells it around my area is sex stores... being that i have never in my life been to one (24 years) i asked my mom to go with me... she of coarse said "absolutely not, chelsea layne i have never been to one of those places and i am not going to start now!!!!" 

so i made my adventure myself... the most awkward part was wondering through the entire store because i didn't have a clue where it would be and then having the lady ask me if she could help... when i told her what i was looking for she showed me but then stood at the counter basically staring and telling me her "personal experiences" YIKES!!! 

all i know is i hope this stuff is worth the trouble and shock i went through to get it lol 

 

three:

birch box... i am anxiously awaiting my delivery even though, i kinda already know what will be in it because other bloggers get too excited and post about their boxes before everyone gets theirs... oh well i think i will still enjoy it... 

four:

this morning i got a super exciting phone call... my best friend just found out she is pregnant!!! :) i can't wait to go visit her and get to help throw a baby shower and all that good stuff!!! 

five:

*disclaimer: reallllly random thought coming now*

oatmeal is soooo yummy, but makes my tummy make all kind of strange noises!!! like it is sooo good that it just can't wait to have more.... but like it's empty and the rumbles are echoing so loud that i am sure someone in the next room can hear it...
